Tapestry
At Rack House Primary School, we use Tapestry, a secure online learning journal, to share regular observations of your child’s learning and development in the Early Years. These observations capture key moments through photos, videos, and written notes, and are carefully linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to highlight the specific areas of learning your child is working within. We also reflect on the Characteristics of Effective Teaching and Learning - such as playing and exploring, active learning, and creating and thinking critically - to give you deeper insight into how your child approaches and engages with their learning. To celebrate your child’s achievements and support their ongoing development, we share these observations with you on a weekly basis via Tapestry. To access your child’s learning journey, you’ll need to set up your Tapestry account using the login details provided by the school. Once your account is activated, you’ll be able to view and comment on your child’s progress as they grow and thrive. If you need any help getting started, please contact your child’s teacher.
