The Governing Body works in partnership with the headteacher and staff to set the school’s vision and values, monitor how well pupils are learning, and make sure money is used wisely. Governors also oversee safeguarding, ensuring children are safe and supported. These responsibilities reflect the core functions set out in The School Governance (Roles, Procedures and Allowances) (England) Regulations 2013, regulation 6(2).
